Adrienne Gorska
(1899 – 1969)

Born in Moscow, Adrienne Gorska moved to Paris around the end of World War One and studied at L’Ecole Spéciale d’Architecture. Graduated in 1924, she collaborated with Robert Mallet-Stevens notably to design her sister’s studio, the painter Tamara de Lempicka, in rue Méchain. Friend of Eileen Gray and member of UAM (Union des Artistes Modernes), Adrienne Gorska created modernist buildings, interiors and furniture with clean lines and modern materials.
